About
A softer, smarter place for mental health.
ThriveOnlineHealth exists because the internet is loud, clinics are intimidating, and mental health information is often written for anyone except the person suffering. We wanted a place that felt like a deep breath — and that told the truth.
What this site is
ThriveOnlineHealth is a free, independent educational website. We publish plain-language guides on common mental health conditions, the therapies and self-care methods that help, and long-form articles for the moments in between. Everything is free to read, with no sign-up, no paywall, and nothing to buy.
What this site isn't
We are not a clinic, a hospital, a therapy service, or a company. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We are not a substitute for professional care, and we don't pretend to be. For the full picture, see our medical disclaimer.
Who writes for us
Our articles are written by a small independent editorial team with lived experience of mental health challenges and a background in health communications. Every piece is drafted by a writer, edited by a second reader, and cross-checked against respected public sources (WHO, NIMH, NHS, APA, NICE, and peer-reviewed research). Read our full editorial standards for details.
What guides us
- Humanity first. Every person is more than a diagnosis.
- Evidence, always. Our clinical content is checked against WHO, NIMH, NHS, and APA guidelines.
- Every method that helps. Therapy, medication, holistic care, community — we don't pick sides.
- No shame. Reaching out is strength, not weakness.
- No selling. No therapy referrals for money, no supplement affiliate deals, no sponsored posts disguised as editorial.
How the site is funded
ThriveOnlineHealth is supported by display advertising served through third-party ad networks. Ads are clearly distinguishable from articles and have no influence on our editorial decisions. You can read what data is collected and how in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
